Ok, I have now posted the drawings associated with the spring to
bottom plate interface, the wiring, and the vibe testing platform.
The vibe testing platform is the most professional of these drawings
and the rest are somewhere along the lines of educated guesses: enough
to get our point across I hope. The drawings as well as all the parts
and assemblies are compiled, but the parts probably will not make
sense unless you have the entire part/assembly set of files.

Looks good Jay,

Two quick questions though.

Why is the vibe plate only 0.20 inches thick, is this enough to place threads in the holes for the length of screws we are using?

and

What physically is the sping to plate attachment piece, wire, torsion screw, pressed metal?  We would need to know this as soon as possible for the IR#1.

Thanks,

The way I understand it the vibe plate is simply a big plate that we
will be bolting things to, I do not think it needs holes. I was
trying to match thicknesses with our bottom plate, but you know more
about the practicality of the design than I do, so you may well be
right.

The spring to plate attachment piece is a thick wire as I was brought
to understand it. It will need to be relatively thick and will need
to be bent in such a way as to keep the spring from wobbling back and
forth at the back; I essentially just created a place holder. What we
actually need is likely to be of a similar nature, I believe Anna has
the specifics as to the design.

Zach finished the spring tho plate interface drawing a while ago so it should just be added to Jay's set.

well that just makes me feel silly; I thought it was rather odd that I was drawing it.  Zach the man!

Sigh, i feel so silly. Anyway, just uploaded the document I sent to
professor Palo regarding software in case anyone wishes to take a
gander (as it were).

Ok, drawings redone and reposted. I am now officially unable to
perform any more solidworks until late monday, i have attached every
single thing I have done and it probably looks like a big bloody
mess. TTFN
