I have looked into the janitor services for ECAE 1B55 since the room is accumulated so much trash that it is terrible. Matt and I have discussed the problem and here is the solution: 1. The janitors are NOT physically able to remove the large trash cans in the room, especially with the heavy items often put in them by students. 2. Each group needs to be more responsible at taking items to the trash or recycling themselves and regularly emptying the trash YOURSELVES. 3. Items are being unpacked - but boxes and packing material are left lying on tables/etc. 4. It is NOT acceptable to stack boxes next to the electrical transformers. This is a fire hazard! 5. Each team needs to take some time to clean up the room by WED FEB 13 or access will be removed for everyone until the room is clean. Please share this email with your team. Thank you!
