DanceWizard Version 1.1.8 is now available

I've just uploaded version 1.1.8 of DanceWizard to the website.

This update adds control over the display of dance tooltips. You can now enable or disable tooltips, as well as adjust their delay and display duration, in the Tooltip Options section of the General tab in the Settings window.

You’ll also notice that the Settings window now includes a new Play & Karaoke tab, as the General tab no longer had enough room for all options.

Version 1.1.8 can be downloaded from the DanceWizard Download page (https://dancewizard.net/software/) or directly via https://dancewizard.net/downloads/DanceWizard/DanceWizardSetup.exe.

Hi,

I've seen a few questions asking what these "tooltips" are, so I thought it would be good to post an answer here.

Tooltips are helpful information a program might display when you position your mouse over something the application is displaying. 

For example, if you place your mouse over the Category box on the dance selection screen you'll see a tooltip stating "Limit selection of dances to specific category" as seen here:

If you instead place your mouse over a dance in the list of dances you'll see a tooltip similar to the following:

If you have a venue selected then the tooltip will also list when the dance was last cued at the venue.

The controls (on the Settings window) added in version 1.1.8 allows you to control when and for how long the dance tooltips are displayed.
