Dear dancers,

 

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with friends and families.  I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you to our winter Demo lesson, which will be on Tuesday, 1/8/2008, 9-11.15 pm, rec. center MPR A.  Please come to share with us your holiday stories and celebrate a new year with music and exiciting new dances.

 

I am also excited to announce our winter workshop which we have worked hard to make it happen.  Last year, we had only one workshop which was in the spring quarter.  This year we have committed to bring more valuable lessons to our members.  You will learn a lot more at this workshop compared to regular lessons.  I know you will enjoy it as we did last year.  The detail is included below:

American Waltz and Cha-cha Workshop:
Day/Date:    Sunday, 1/13/2008
Place:     Student Recreation Center, Multi-Purpose Room A
Time:     3:00 - 6:00 pm
Registration Deadline:     Thursday, 1/10/2008, midnight.
Maximum Limit:     45 dancers on first come first serve basis.
Fee:     Free for Fall quarter members
Requirement:     Send reply to fook...@ucr.edu to register
 
There will be NO EXCEPTION to the above requirement for the workshop.

In addition to regular classes and workshop, we will parcipitate in at least three competitions during this winter quarter.  To experienced folks, I can't wait to share with you the joy and happiness in our fantastic team spririt as we did last year.  To new folks, I encourage you to take a step forward and compete with beginning dancers from other campuses.  You will not regret that you have joined our competition team.  For details, please talk to our competition coordinators: Jen, Duanzi, and Ajay.
