Last Update/Reminder on Block Party

Hi everyone,
This year Block Party will take place tomorrow, Friday, Sep 28. We've been preparing for this event extensively. I encourage all members of Dancesport of UCR to participate in this rare event for fun and also to support our club.
Set-up: 3:00-5:00PM
Event: 5:00-8:30PM+
Clean up: After 8:30PM+
You can show your contributions to our club by helping with set-up, dance demonstration, reception, and clean up. For now, we don't know where our booth will be located. Student Life will assign us a spot at 3PM tomorrow, when we check in. For those who promise or want to help with setting up, please come to the A/I front office at 3:00PM (the horse shoe on Anberdeen Dr). For those who volunteer to dance and distribute flyers, we have add-on custumes for you. This year's theme is Highlander Heritage. We will make you look Scottish. Please either put on your competition dresses or Dancesport T-shirt, if possible. For those who have tight schedules, you just need to swing by our club's booth to mingle. I really want to see you all tomorrow!
We still have a considerable amount of decorations to work on prior to 3:00PM. If you have time for this, please come to the lobby of ENGR Building II (where we had our party last winter) @ 12:30-3:00PM. We have great ideas on decorations this year. I promise you will be surprised!

Tatevik, could you bring your poster to the ENGR Building II, Lobby during our decoration time. We will try to incorporate your artistic work with our design. Please swing by as early as you can.
Ethel, I hope you had the presentation board ready to wow us tomorrow. As you described it to me earlier, it will be a perfect explanation of the sport that we all love - Ballroom and Latin.
Guys, we need your muscular power to put everything together tomorrow. Solomon, Malcolmn, David, Ajay, Craig,... please come and give us your hands.
Laura, Tatevik, Duanzi, Jen, Jacqueline, Heidi, and ladies please come and attract more gentlemen for us!

I am sorry for the late reply as I didn't have internet for last couple of days and I am out of station for a conference in my field and so I wont be able to cheer you guys on block party booth.

Not the nylon stocking but regular long white socks. This is toward
completing our booth decoration.
I you do please let us know. We would need them hopefully by 12:30 but
at the latest by 3:30pm.
