Hi all,

I know you've been getting a lot of emails from us, so here is a consolidated update:

1. Congratulations to our NEW OFFICERS for next year!
President - Stephanie Fong
Treasurer - Viviana (Vivi) Munoz
Webmaster - Malcolm Mumme

If you are still interested in being an officer, email or talk to Fook Tham (fook...@ucr.edu) or Van Nguyen (dinhv...@gmail.com).

2. Tonight 5/27 is the last professional lesson with Kipp for the year.  We'll be learning West Coast Swing and Bolero.  Hope to see you there!

3. Multi-purpose Room B is reserved for next Tuesday 6/3 from 9:15-11pm for extra practice.  There will be no formal lesson, but the room is reserved for you to practice if you wish.

SOCIAL EVENTS:
1.  Social Dance is THIS THURSDAY at Engineering II Lobby
Date & time: 5/29, from 8pm till whenever we run out of energy. =)  The lobby is reserved from 8-12pm.
Food, drinks, and music will be provided.  Come ready to dance and have fun!

2. End-of-the-year Picnic
Date & time: Friday, June 6th, 3-6pm
Location: Highland Park.  Email me if you can't open the link to the map.
Food and drinks will be provided.  Bring games and activities if you like.  This is the last social event of the year, so come relax and spend a few hours with fellow members before finals start.

3.  Big Bear Camping Trip
We will be leaving Early Saturday morning (early = 5 or 6 AM.  Yes. )  Email me or Mike Glass (mystic...@yahoo.com) to tell us whether you're coming, and to see which one of us has room in their car if you need a ride.  Also tell us exactly what equipment you HAVE, such as sleeping bags, cooking equipment, flashlights, tarps, blankets, etc.  and WHAT YOU NEED so we can see what we can provide for you.  Bring winter clothes because it will probably be very cold, (guaranteed cold at night), and comfortable clothing to do some walking around the area.  If you have any food, utensils, paper plates, trash bags, and other smaller items, also let us know.

This email is the last general announcement for anyone who is still deciding to go to Big Bear.  All future correspondence about the trip will be through email ONLY to the people who are going.    Better decide quickly if you want to go so we include your address!

Thank you all for reading.  If you have any questions about anything above, please feel free to email me.
