Dancers Wanted - Pierce College Dance Team

Intermediate/advanced Jazz or West Coast Swing dancers for a new dance team
at Pierce College. Choreographer extraordinaire, National and U.S. Open
Champion and 3x Swing Dance Hall of Fame award recipient Sonny Watson and
Pierce College Dance Professor Denise Gibson will collaborate in producing
choreography scheduled to be competed at US Open Dance Championships in
2009. The team will also be performing in local theaters in the Spring and
Fall semester of 2009.
Auditions are Saturday, February 21st 2009 in the
Pierce College Campus Center 1:30-3:00pm
Rehearsals will take place 1:30- 3:30 every Saturday for the entire duration
of the spring semester February 21st -June 8thh 2009
Please note:
Dancers should plan on committing to the team Until December of 2009!
Enrollment in summer and fall 2009 classes will be necessary.
All dancers selected will need to enroll in a one unit dance production
class following the audition.
