NAATYA THARANG Music & Dance Festival 
            We proudly announce that a Dance festival Naatya Tharang will be organised every month from November, 2010 onwards at Visakhapatnam,AP,India           

          Motto of Naatya Tharang is to provide an opportunity, for Young talented Classical,Folk Musicians & Dancers, to perform before the art lovers of Visakhapatnam.  

          We invite Profiles from Musicians & Dancers from allover the World aged between 18-40years with minimum 8 years of experience in the respective field to perform at the above mentioned festival.
          We provide local transport, Food & Accommodation to all the participants along with
Naatya Tharang Puraskaram.

About the Academy:

            Our, institution, Nataraj Music and Dance Academy represents the future for Indian Music ,Dance and Drama in Visakhapatnam. The Academy is dedicated towards preserving and promoting India’s Vibrant Classical dance forms. The institution not only trains the students in Music, Dance and Drama, but also conducts mega events like Dance Festivals, Workshops, Seminars, Dance recitals by eminent artists, exponents in various fields.

Previous Dance Festivals:

The institution had conceived an Idea that an All India Classical Dance festivals should be a part of Visakhapatnam’s culture and heritage. So, with this idea we have organized Vysakhi Nrityostsav (All India  Classical Dance Festivals) in the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 successfully. The great exponents like Padmashri Dharsana Javeri, (Manipuri), Padmashri Dr. Sobha Naidu (Kuchupudi). Smt. Manju Bhargavi (Kuchupudi), Guru Smt. Kshemavathi (Mohiniattam), Leena Malakar (kathak). The festivals were highly successful and added glory to the cultural heritage of Visakhapatnam. Eminent Gurus were decorated and awarded with NAATYASHRI title as a part of the festival celebrations.
