Looking back at the archives, the DanceHallCrashers.com mailing list
was around for more than a decade. It saw discussions of the first
fan Skinhead BBQ (organized by Doug Boon), countless show reviews, a
few posts from the band themselves and more recently, a reflective
view on 20 years of DHC by Ryan Kelley.

The last post to the mailing list was back in 2009. I expect most of
the remaining subscribers will have moved on but as my servers go
through an upgrade, I thought it appropriate to set the list free to a
more modern home here on Google groups.

I had many great times meeting fellow listers, taking in shows and
enjoying the sounds of DHC. Hope you had the same!

reading this list and connecting with some great people.Thanks!

Did you know I met my husband through this list about 9-10 years
ago?

Melissa, that is very cool, congrats!

I was at Jazz Fest in New Orleans this weekend and heard some music
that
had strong dance hall roots that made me think of DHC. Always in the
back of mind!
