Concerns about MOOCdb

Hi everyone!

Owing to thoughts and conversations, I have got some concerns with MOOCdb.

- The same field in the db might mean different things in the different contexts associated with the course.

- Won't conforming to a common standard be hard?

- More importantly, won't conforming to the standard be restrictive disallowing any deviation and thus innovation in this regard?

Are my concerns unfounded or addressed by some aspect of MOOCdb?
