Feel free to post follow up discussion here.

What feedback about Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Concerns do you have about the interventions discussed in the talk?

What would you like to see in platform extensions for collaborative and discussion based learning?

Hi Carolyn!

Here are some questions that came up during the talk.

"What are some of the other measures, rather than attrition, you use or would like to use as success?" - Isaac Thompson

"Did the study help you figure out ways of eliminating confusion? Has your study inspired some ideas to reduce attrition?" - Sreecharan Sankaranarayanan

Thanks for the great talk,
Sree

Due to the technical difficulties during the recording, we decided to re-record the talk and make it available as a video stream.
We will notify you here as soon as the new video is available.

Learning would be the ultimate success measure.

"Did the study help you figure out ways of eliminating confusion? Has your study inspired some ideas to reduce attrition?" - Sreecharan Sankaranarayanan

The QuickHelper application was an idea to improve help exchange and reduce attrition that was motivated by the research on confusion.

Thanks for the great talk,
Thanks, and sorry for the technical glitches.  Feel free to refer to a new version created using Camtasia: http://dance.cs.cmu.edu/talks/talk2.mp4
