TONIGHT! FREE! I am headlining the Mayne Stage Theater!

This weekend I was supposed to open for Maria Bamford at the lovely
Mayne Stage Theater. It truly is lovely. Don't let the empty Magic
Video across the street fool you, it's worth billions of moneys.

Maria has fallen ill. She is a badass, and I really hope she recovers
quickly. Last night I got to open for an emergency fill in, Sonya
White. And tonight, with my friend and left-brained Irish nerd Adam
Burke opening for me, I am lucky enough that I get to headline both
the 8 and 10:30 PM shows.

If there is any silver lining, it's that these shows are on Maria.
Free. All tickets for her shows tonight have been refunded. You can
come and watch me for free whether you were going to see her or not.
Tell the box office I said so!

I don't really know any details about Maria's illness. And I am
genuinely concerned. But this is a huge deal. Have you seen this
venue? Doing a long set there will be an honor for sure. I will do my
best to be dark and awkward the way Maria would have wanted.

perform tonight and has made her way home to LA. She has asked that
everyone still come out for the show tonight and enjoy some great
comedy, on her. Her good friend and tour mate, Dan Telfer, will
headline with the lovely Ever Mainard and Adam Burke. That's a lot of
great comedy, and now it’s free! We’ve got $4 drafts, laughs, and
maybe some giraffes! (sorry). If you already purchased tickets with a
credit card, you will be automatically refunded at show time tonight.
If you paid cash, stop on by and we’ll take care of it at the box
office. Hope to see you tonight!"
