Headlining show this Saturday!

Hello again! I'm ready to have one of these one-sided conversations
again, so I hope you have a moment or two!

1) The Lakeshore Theater is closed! Money issues nagged at the place
its entire existence, and though it was becoming profitable the
theater didn't recover its original debt in time. So, that stinks. And
in the context of my self-promotion emails this means my Lakeshore
shows this weekend are cancelled. However!

2) I have been offered a headlining show at the very lovely Wilmette
Theater on May 8th! That's this Saturday! On the plus side, this is a
great venue! And my name is on their classic retro-looking marquee, so
I look like people respect me somehow. On the minus side, I am having
sweaty panic attacks about not filling out the venue. I had a lot of
people planning to come to the Lakeshore shows, but it can be very
jarring to rebook a show at a new venue. Please, please come! Bring
people who might like my weird, dark sense of humor! I am planning to

3) I am on the cover of The Onion this week! Well, if you're in
Chicago. There's a pretty cool interview with me in the AV Club. Want
