While on a trip to the Gulf coast of FL. the generator switch went out
on my 2007 Intruder 378. Once in a while we would hear a sound that we
could not identify. finally my wife, who can hear better than I, was
standing out side and heard it. It was the genny trying to start. I
had to place a folded piece of paper under the start side of the
switch as a temp fix.
When we got home I contacted the dealership where we bought the MH
they said they did not mess with generators.
I said all I needed was a switch. They said they would get back to me.
After a few days I contacted another dealer,
same story. Findley I was able to contact Damon via email. While they
would not sell me the part directly they did give me the part #. Even
with that no one would mess with an $8.00 part. So I ask Damon to
direct me to a dealer that would order the part for me and drop ship
it to me. They directed me to Holman Motors in Ohio. (I'M in Arkansas)
I called and talked to Ron Green at 800 323 8677 and got the best
service I could have hoped for. In three days I had my part from
Damon. Under $17 for part and shipping.
I will be using them for my parts from now on.
