SPECIAL ISKCON’s JANMASHTAMI ANNOUNCEMENT!

Sri Krishna Janmashtami - the celebration of the transcendental birthday of Lord Sri Krishna is just a few days from the 19th Friday -21st Sunday August 2022, and we invite you to celebrate with us!

Now more than ever, amidst this global pandemic, we need to invoke the blessings of Lord Sri Krishna. When Krishna appeared in this world over 5,000 years ago, He eliminated the evil influences on the planet, and He promises to do the same for anyone who celebrates His divine appearance. So, let us come together to satisfy Lord Krishna in His Birthday and spread the auspiciousness throughout the world!

As stated in the Hari-bhakti-vilasa (Texts 283-284, 289-292)

"By observing Sri Krishna Janmashtami one becomes free from the sinful reactions committed in seven lives. One gets good children, good health, and great wealth.... One will not have to fear enemies and will get sufficient rainfall and never have to suffer from drought. One will not have to fear natural calamities, hellish conditions, snakes, disease, or the attacks of rogues and thieves...”

Owing to the pandemic, and the uncertainties in the last couple of years, we had missed to come together in congregation to celebrate this great festival of deliverance. We are very happy to inform you that this year's festival will be celebrated in a very grand way by performing the various Sri Krishna Janmashtami related Sevas to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishna at Sunmarke School, Jumeirah Village Triangle.

FRIDAY, 19TH AUGUST: JANMASHTAMI DAY
8pm onwards with Arati, Moonlit Midnight Darshan, Abhiseka and Wonderful Kirtan!

SATURDAY, 20TH AUGUST : CULTURAL SPECIAL & NANDOTSAVA DAY
12pm to 9pm with SPECIAL cultural bonanza including amazing drama, dances & scintillating musical performances.

SUNDAY, 21ST AUGUST: SUNDAY LOVE FEAST
10am to 12pm Janmashtami Meditations & Vishnu Sahasrananama
