Gaura Purnima Festival 2023

Gaura Purnima is on the 7th Mar 2023 and festival begins around 28th Feb and goes on till 8th Mar at Sridham Mayapur, the birthplace of Lord Caitanya. (Sridham Mayapur is around 3 hours from Kolkata and the spiritual headquarters of ISKCON).

The main components of the festival –

 Kirtan Mela 18th to 22nd Feb; 

Navadwip Mandala Parikrama 23rd Feb to 1st Mar; 

7th Mar Gaura Purnima, 

8th Mar JAgannatha Mishra Feast.

Generally we have many devotees going from Sridham Mayapur for the festival.

As usual, we have block booked some rooms for DDY, and we need to know if any of you need rooms and will attend the festival latest by 10 Jan, as we would need to FIRMLY BLOCK ROOMS for the requirement. 

Rooms will cost approx. Rs.1000 a nite for a room that can accommodate between 1 to 4 people in a family.

Sridham Mayapur is experience immense footfall post covid and so any delay in confirming will mean no rooms availability for the festival.

Also those who are interested in going, and want our support for the rooms, are requested to provide their dates, and number of people travelling, and also PAY FOR THE ROOMS ahead, as once booked, there is no refund for canx.

HG Tulsi Govinda pr, based in Sridham Mayapur will help coordinating, but first, I want to know this info from you all by 10th Jan so that we can enable your journey.
