Damn It! Wrong application key

I get a strange behaviour on our app and I wonder whether also others
run into this issue.
We have a pretty AJAX-havvy app and all of the sudden there occurs an
alert witht he text Damn It! Wrong Application key! Then the prompt
opens, after sending the error message, the alert comes again ... and
again ... and again ...

I don't get any error report by email.

any idea?

Have you put your app key in your JS code as shown in the examples?

Yes, and I also get a bunch of errors via damnIT - it is really
helpfull!
But from time to time the above described problem occurs, which is
very annoying.

But if we are the only one who have this problem, it might a bug on
our site.
I'll let you know if I find something
