Hi Friends,
At some point in the past few months, I've talked to you about PSI. I think it is going to be beautiful, but we really need more pieces before it can become a reality. Art, writing, poetry... we want to hear from you.
PSI is a new quarterly print venture by, for, and about, the WTF (Women/Trans/Femme) cycling community in Minneapolis. In the past five years the community has grown from about a dozen WTF folks getting together every few weeks to ride and learn bike maintenance from each other, to a vibrant community enjoying shop nights, group rides, skill shares, and other related events. At its core, this is a supportive community that has gotten hundreds of women in the saddle and working on their own bikes - in summer and in winter - and loving it! With that in mind, we are publishing a journal that captures what makes this community special, and are looking for contributions from YOU.
The theme for our first issue is "Introductions." This theme can be interpreted liberally to include just about anything new you may have experienced related to cycling. Please send us your stories (true or made up), your photos, your drawings, your poems, your comics, or even your haiku!
All submissions should be sent to psicycli...@gmail.com Compensation upon publication will be one copy of PSI Cycling Journal.
Thank you for considering submitting to this project, I hope you are as excited and hopeful as I am!
