Sad Demise

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Luis Fernandes who passed
away a few days ago.

I knew Luis very well in my childhood days when I lived in Small
Daman. I was the youngest in the group of friends - Ernesto Fernandes,
Francisco Fernandes and Luis. I followed them in the quiet hours of
the afternoon into the 'Bataria' (opp PWD in Small Daman). While they
tried shooting down sparrows with slings ('pedra de borracha'), I
peered down an unused well filled with frogs.

Sudden & Sad demise..

Passed away:10.07.2009

FUNERAL: 24th.JULY.09 at 10 am

We in Leicester will always remember Luis and his family for taking
part in many of our events. Last easter day, they were having fun and
dancing till the wee hours of the morn...Today he is no more there...
Well, that's the parody of life.. One day being there with us 'jolly-
good-well' .. some other day simply ceases to exist in body...

At this moment of time our hearts and thoughts go to hise
wife,children & relatives. May the Lord Almighty grant his family
enormous grace to bear this huge loss and may Luis's soul rest in
eternal peace. Amen..
