Hello friends around the world!

I should have made it more clear that international panhandlers are
welcome on Wednesday!
It would be very exciting for this to be a world-wide performance. We
have one person signed up in New Zealand and I hope more will join in
the next two days.

There are two simple ways to shape the performance for folks outside
the US, but your own take on things is welcome as well.

1) Approach the performance as international pressure on the US- so
keep the sign focused on the US element and simply collect
reparations that are sent via paypal to repar...@damaliayo.com and
distributed to US folks, or give to black American tourists in your
country.

2) Make it a global movement for slavery reparations by researching
your country's history with slavery and tailoring your sign to that.
Pay the people in your country who are the rightful recipients of
reparations. This also puts global pressure on the US and all
countries. Who ever takes the first steps toward reparations could
set an example for the world.
