Yamaha XSR700 only in Europe?

I like the looks and have discovered (rediscovered?) a soft spot for Yamahas, but does anybody know if this thing is going to be released in the US at all?

All the info I can find is European.

Not sure, but Yamaha did the same thing with the FZ-09 releasing 'tracker' style bikes in Europe and not U.S.

The XSR700 is an FZ-07 with new skin.
