Not a huge sample, and only from one source (outpatient).

Saying that no helmet is the same as an open face... not buying it.

I got 100+ stitches and multiple skull fractures... Open face helmets are bullshit.

Anecdotally, I agree with Matt.  Certainly a full casket saved most of my brain (and all of my face) from my worst accident,
and I know other people who have had their lives changed for the worst with limited protection.

I'm hip on the full gear. I have it all when I ride. From head to toe.
And think everybody should do the same.

I was objecting to the conclusion that if you're not wearing a
full-face helmet, you might not want to bother at all (as outcomes are
the same with no protection). Not buying it, or the study's validity
on that point.
