The49-foot by 5/32-inch galvanized, super-duty aircraft cable is less prone to fraying, even when used in highly abrasive terrain, such as in rocks, mud, or sand. This incredibly strong cable is guided onto the 1.2 by 2.9-inch drum through the reliable roller fairlead to maximize the life of the cable.

The Tork Winch TW 2000 is designed to lift 800 lbs. at a line speed of 11 feet or 3.4 meters per minute. The cable travel is 25 feet or 7.7 meters on 1 layer, with a maximum cable travel of 45 feet or 13.7 meters. Built in North America, it is compact and weighs only 68 lbs./30.4 kg. allowing for unprecedented ease of installation. All main frame components are E-coated and all exposed sub-components are plated for maximum corrosion protection.

Grooved drum

A grooved drum assures that the first layer of rope wraps properly and evenly within the groove pattern. When the first layer is properly established, additional layers are more likely to also cooperate with the desired, even-layer wrapping. A pressure roller is often used together with a grooved drum.

Pressure roller

Pressure rollers improve the spooling of the rope. The rollers reduce the slack and avoid tangle of the rope which lead to that the wire winds better on the drum. The pressure rollers increase the lifetime of the rope and is it often used with a grooved drum.

This large worm gear winch has, as the name implies, a worm gear transmission. This type of transmission, in combination with the load-pressure brake, ensures that this winch is a very safe winch. In addition, the large worm gear winch is easy to use and can be mounted in any position. The winch also has space for a large cable storage up to 120 meters.

The PCH2000 has an oversized 4-1/4'' anodized capstan drum that does not increase the rope conductivity. It maintains a constant pulling force over an unlimited length of rope at a speed of 66 feet per minute while being more resistant to wear.

These attributes make it ideal for its assignment to tasks around and on electrical structures!

Developed for lifting, the PCH series benefits from its own unique clutch and rope Progressive Capture System (PCS). Once the rope is inserted into the grabbing system, the operator activates the clutch and initiates the movement by pulling the rope horizontally. At any time, the operator can decide to stop lifting and hold the load in mid-air.

To lower the load, pull on the handle of the cord attached to the PCS to disengage it while controlling the main rope in the descent.

The THALER Single Capstan Winch TSW 2000 impresses with its compact design. It is a single-disc capstan winch on a galvanised metal frame for versatile attachment. This winch is not equipped with a vertical brake and is therefore not suitable for vertical cable hoists.

DUET-SAFE Double Action Braking System combines a powerful spring applied, hydraulic released motor-brake with a double counter balance brake valve to automatically hold loads when hydraulic pressure is released and control speed during lowering operations. Winch is ideal for high-speed pulling applications or wherever load holding is critical.

Performance

Powered by the Honda GX160 cc engine, the PCH2000 features an unprecedented pulling power of 1,150 kg and a lifting capacity of 450 kg in a single line. Of course, a block and tackle system will allow you to increase its capacity!

Designed as a cost-effective solution to a dedicated vehicle or skid-mounted system, the DW winch offers increased performance, additional cable capacity, and the ability to be permanently or semi-permanently mounted on a vehicle. The DW winch includes a level wind mechanism as standard, which will aid in cable management by neatly and evenly spreading cable across the reel.

While designed to be operated via controls on the winch, we now offer an optional controller that can be added to the DW winch to enable remote operation of the draw works.

The downhole facing SC-166 is suitable for boreholes up to 10 inches in diameter. The R-CAM dual view camera can view boreholes up to 16 inches in diameter. The DC5150 is suitable for borehole diameters up to 30 inches in diameter. Please note, visibility downhole will be impacted by the clarity of the fluid and the available light.

Every camera system will eventually require a repair to the cable head, the point at which the cable and camera physically connect. Over time, the internal connections within the cable head can be strained to the point where they disconnect and cause interference or a complete loss of the video signal. To expedite the repair process, we have cable head repair kits available for both portable systems and large vehicle-based systems.

Conducting surveys with the included centralizers and available lens shield accessory is the best way to ensure that the camera head remains protected downhole. When not in use, store the camera head in an area where it will be safe from unintentional drops or damage. The Redline Series is used to change the direction of the rope, so the winch can be mounted in a convenient location and the Redline Lead Block will control the path of the rope to avoid obstacles, reduce hazard, and improve rope wear. Vertical Lead Block Series
