Silicon Valley-based FinTech startup is looking for full-time Remote Senior Ruby on Rails Developer. Fast-paced environment, small team with technical leadership. Our tech platform is growing fast and getting a lot of attention in the industry.
Shastic makes extensive use of AWS, Docker, Serverless Computing, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, MySQL, Python and Machine Learning within our infrastructure. We use tools like CodeBuild and CodePipeline to streamline and automate deployments and CloudWatch to see what’s going on under the hood.
We are a high-stamina team, we work as a close unit. To be successful in our team, you have to be comfortable with over-communicating, since our entire team is remote. That means responding to any contact from anyone in the team in a few seconds (within work hours) and making sure that everyone is aligned on response times and expectations.
The person we are looking for is someone we can count on when the stakes are high and the entire team has to put in extra hours to meet our goals. Attention to detail is a must to succeed in our team as oftentimes the risks involved in our daily tasks can have legal and financial implications if mishandled.
Salary: $8,000-10,000/month (based on a proven experience)
