If there's one thing that's consistent about developers, it's that
their development environments can be wildly different from the next
and still get the job done. There's loads of technology out there that
can be integrated into a development platform to get the job done -
virtualization, version control, deployment tools and more.

This month's meeting will be a more open discussion of development
environments in general and some common trends that're showing up in
the PHP community. We'll start with a presentation to get the ball
rolling but be prepared to talk about your setup. We want to hear the
good and the bad, what's working for you now and what was broken in
the past.

Bring your horror stories and successes to share with the group - who
knows, you might just show someone the technology they need to make
their lives easier! (If you'd like to talk about your environment
directly, you'll be able to hook up to the projector and show it off).

Join us at 7pm on Tuesday the 13th as we talk about environments and
what makes yours tick!

Additionally, thanks to the generosity of the folks over at Zend,
we'll also be giving away a free conference pass (to the conference
days only, no tutorial days) for this year's ZendCon event, a value of
over $1000, being held October 17th through 20th. You'll have to be in
attendance to be entered into the drawing, so show up and get your
name in the running! Five others will also win free O'Reilly ebook
coupons. More info on ZendCon can be found here: http://zendcon.com
