I am interested in the Fireball project. Will last night's meeting
notes be published and has there been any more progress/discussion
since June about project Fireball?
I tried replying to that thread, but was not able to do it. Maybe
Google's figured out it's old and preventing me.
If it is not too late for my input regarding the frameworks
discussion: frameworks seem very important for business and commercial
projects, and they are raved about by the StackOverflow users. I have
not used Smarty, Zend, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Solar, or any other
framework, so I'm looking forward to a learning experience if that is
chosen. I do not understand the purpose of using all of the frameworks
for the project though.
I understand the last intention was for a Project management system
(someone else had asked about a web based ERP app though). If it works
that way, and even if it doesnt, perhaps we should seriously consider
contributing to one of the significant PHP projects like one of the
frameworks, Pear, PECL, etc. I'm not sure what, if any, existing
relationships any of the frameworks or PEAR has for project management
code, but it may be an existing void in need of being filled.
