Announcing the March 2011 meeting of the DallasPHP user group! This
month (well, in March) Bob Majdak will be talking about one of
everyone's favorite topics - frameworks. You might love them or hate
them, but come and listen to Bob as he talks about some of the
considerations that could have gotten your favorite framework where it
is:

The presentation will be a brief examination of popular frameworks and
why starting from the ground up might suit your project more. I'll
cover some of the thoughts behind their development including design
patterns use, system requirements and considerations you'll need to
make when building your own system from scratch.
