Full Time Permanent PHP Developer opening in Richardson TX

You will be responsible for contributing specialized technical knowledge in multiple development efforts in order to create and maintain enterprise applications.  You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.  

The Job:

•                     Work collaboratively in a distributed team environment to develop components, services and applications using PHP, Oracle, Linux and Apache.

•                     Work with Business Analysts to aid in the design of the system.

•                     Work with Development Teams to meet technical expectations and goals.

•                     Responsible for providing technical input into designs and creation of technical design documents.

•                     Work with the Quality Assurance team to assist in the creation of test plans and test scenarios.

•                     Contribute to the architecture, design and code review of new product features, product fixes, and refactoring efforts.

•                     Contribute to routine product builds.

•                     Provide technical direction to and mentor junior developers.

•                     Assist in interviewing new hires.

You:

•                     5+ years experience with mastery of OO analysis design principles, design patterns, SOA and distributed architecture patterns

•                     5+ years experience with the following technologies:  JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DHTML and application frameworks such as PHP, J2EE and .Net

•                     Strong Structured Query Language (“SQL”) skills and understanding of database/data modeling concepts, experience with Oracle is must

•                     Strong analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

•                     JQuery, XML, XSL, Shell Scripting, hands on experience with Linux OS

•                     Boot Strap knowledge is a plus

•                     Experience with code repository like SVN, TFS etc.

•                     Experience with Apache and Tomcat webservers

•                     Experience with any performance monitoring (APM) tools

•                     Experience with Agile software development such as Scrum or Kanban
