I hope this finds you smiling and having a fun day. The reason for this mail is to make you aware of an opportunity with a company started by a Green Peace individual, Sungevity. They are one of the world’s leading and fast growing residential solar companies. Committed to software innovations and a technology-led business, we are known for inventing Remote Solar Design. Our customers are happy with the deliver of easier and cheaper solar energy.

The culture is fast-paced, passionate and fun. We understand the work/life balance issues. Our adventure is in the fact no two days are alike. We thrive in Agile teams building next generation web technologies for the efficient design of Solar Energy Systems.

This is a chance to take ownership and solve complex problems.

You will design, develop and deliver. This is a ground floor opportunity on a new project. We need Scala experience!

Skills in Web API and Server-side development in Scala using Play2.x, TDD in Scala, also understanding of MySQL and MongoDB, team-based source control management are helpful. Use your excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Single-Page App style development with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Angular.js are the front-end.

If this sounds interesting let’s talk. If now is not the right time to consider a change, I understand. Keep us in mind and feel free to pass along this information.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Continued Success,

Mary Frances
