Reminder: Dallas Workshop Oct. 16

All - I wanted to remind you that there will be a one-day workshop in
Dallas (we only do these once a year, to take advantage!) on healing
from hair pulling and skin picking, facilitated by the
Trichotillomania Learning Center's (TLC) founding director Christina
Pearson, who is flying in from California. We will not have our
regular support group meeting in October.

Volunteer Role Descriptions:

2 Volunteers Needed for:
- Place sponsorship materials at seats /check-in:
- If we have sponsors, stuff sponsorship materials in booklets at
7:45 am
- Run credit cards/accept checks or cash for walk-in registrants
- Stand at table to check in attendees from 8:15-9:15
- Drink station set-up and restock:
- Arrive at 8 am; make coffee first and then brew tea (to be used
for iced tea)
- Set up drink station by 8:30 with coffee, hot water in carafes
for hot tea, room temperature tea for iced tea, water and ice
- Re-stock beverages/water/ice/cups at 9, 11, 1 and 3

2 Volunteers Needed for (one spot remaining):
- Bookstore/information desk:
First shift: 12:30-2:30 (or a bit earlier if room becomes available)
- Unload bookstore items from car, set up items
- Sell items, run credit cards/accept checks or cash and provide
receipts (it is very important that we be as accurate as possible for
TLC’s records!)
Second shift: 2:30-4:30
- Sell items, run credit cards/accept checks or cash and provide
receipts (it is very important that we be as accurate as possible for
TLC’s records!)
- Pack up bookstore at 4:30 sharp and load into car (we have to be
completely out of the building by 4:45, so this is going to require
fast workers)

2 Volunteers Needed for:
- Clean-up:
- Work from 4-4:45 pm (we have to be completely out of the
building by 4:45 pm)

push in chairs, take out trash).
