To help establish a sustainable network of agencies and organizations working collaboratively to increase student access and success in postsecondary education, the Texas High School Project (THSP), a public-private initiative of the Communities Foundation of Texas, has been selected by the National College Access Network (NCAN) to develop a Texas College Access Network (TxCAN). Key initiatives for TxCAN will focus on building awareness of existing college access activities and resources, aligning the strategic efforts of numerous stakeholders, and providing tools to measure the impact of access services.
This meeting will:
· Provide a summary of progress to date since North Texas pilot kick-off with reports from Awareness, Alignment and Impact Measurement Committees
· Serve as a learning opportunity through a focused and timely panel of financial aid experts
· Enable a second networking opportunity for TxCAN participants with local college access experts and stakeholders
We would like to ensure that all relevant college access stakeholders are included in this event. Please share this invitation with any peer organizations or partners that you believe would be interested in participating.
Please complete attached registration form to confirm your RSVP by Friday, January 6th, 2012.
