Student Science Fair at the NAA Convention

Dear DASN Members, The National AfterSchool Association will hold it's annual convention in Dallas at the Gaylord Texan from 4/1-4/4, 2012.  At this convention,  NAA will host it's 2nd Annual Student Science Fair.   All students in grades 4-8 are eligible to enter.  All registered students will receive a backpack loaded with goodies!   The Fair flyer, Registration/Participation form and Fair Rules are attached for your use.   The following prizes will be awarded to students in grades 4-5 and 6-8: 3rd place winner     iPod* 2nd place winner    iTouch* 1st place winner     iPad*   *Only one prize will be awarded for each grade category (4-5 and 6-8).  Individual projects are encouraged, however, team projects are acceptable.   They will also have raffle drawings throughout the Science Fair demonstration time on Monday, 4/2.  Here is a sampling of some of the raffle prizes:         Dallas Zoo tickets         Fort Worth Zoo tickets         Ice Skating lessons at the Skating Center of Dallas   Have your students choose their project and complete the Registration/Participation form today!
