हाल के दशकों में भारत सहित दुनिया भर में पूंजीवादी देशों में ज्यादातर सुरक्षा व विदेश नीति को छोड़कर सभी सरकारी संस्थानों को उपेक्षित कर ध्वस्त करने की कोशिश की जाती रही हैं। पूंजीवादी देशों में जनता द्वारा चुनी हुई सरकारों द्वारा मुख्य रूप से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य व रोजगार जैसे बुनियादी क्षेत्रों को पूंजीवाद  के नए सिपहासालार और पोषक बहुराष्ट्रीय कॉर्पोरेट्स के हाथ तेजी से सौंप दिए जा रहे हैं ।

Result of lack of proper development process in developing countries will result in the death of millions of the citizens when a virus like corona, or plague or any other such calamities strike.. For example country like India where we do not have the health infrastructure facilities, the onslaught of Corona can devastate the nation unless the people are careful. Our priorities are misplaced and we have become a slave to cor[orates and industrialists and the country is being sold out to private sector for the detriment of the large scale public sector and deprivation of the vast majority only benefiting a few . Even developed countries could not resist and thousands are dying and our government is only showing lollipop to the people and making a fool of everyone..So many of our heath personals are getting infected for want of proper protective methods which do not seem to be governments concern. 

One can imagine what could happen after the lock down. Already thousands are at their wit send.depending on the doll out by generous people. Industries have stopped prodiction and goods are accumulated in go downs and there is no purchasing power in the ordinary people..No employment in sight for a long time. Daily laboures will not be able to get back especially the migrant ones. and small scale industries do not have the money to invest until produced goods are sold out and what not
