PRESS STATEMENT

 

Dear friends from Media,

            As you may be aware that “Bahujan Movement Bachao Rashtriya Andolan” (National Campaign to Save Bahujan Movement) organized a day long programme at the Constitution Club Ground on 6^th May, 2012 titled “Mayawati Hatao-BSP Bachao”. In this programme, more than 1200 delegates from all over the country participated, most of whom were the most senior office bearers and top party functionaries (including some founder members) of the Bahujan Samaj Party. This programme started at 11.00 AM and continued till 8 PM. Many of the senior Party office bearers (both past & present) presented their views on as to how Mayawati, the President of the BSP and her cohorts have made the BSP a den of criminal and brahminical elements who are out to give Party a bad name and destroy its original culture & character. Mayawati is solely responsible for all this because after she became the President of the Party, she systematically removed senior party Missionaries and close associates of Kanshiram ji one by one. The recent incident of breaking the lock of the room of Sh Ram Prasad Mehra Ji at 12, GRG Road, New delhi premises and evicting him from there, the senior most and closest associate of Manyawar Saheb Kanshiram ji, who is also a highly respected figure amongst the old and senior Party functionaries, she has bared her true “brahminical” character.

            Not just that, during her stint as the CM of Up from 2007 to 2012, severe atrocities were perpetrated on Dalits and other weaker sections of the society and, instead of listening to their grievances, she was busy in accumulating money. That’s why she made the Party lose power in the just concluded Assembly elections in UP.

 

Tampering with core ideology and principles :

            It is not just the matter of governance (or bad and corrupt governance, to put it more appropriately), Mayawati connived with brahminical forces to change the ideology of the Party from “Bahujan” to “Sarvajan”. This is the biggest betrayal by Mayawati towards the Bahujan Ideology and Great Gurus of the Bahujan Samj, right from Lord Buddha to Saheb Kanshi Ram ji. She did all this at the behest of Brahminical elements who are her closest advisors and allies. There is a strong sense of anger amongst the common Bahujan masses against Mayawati for this despicable act of betrayal. She can never be forgiven for all this. Bahujans all over the country have this strong feeling that now a ‘Sarvajanite’ Mayawati has no moral right to lead a Bahujan party i.e. BSP.

 

Support to Congress/UPA govt- An act of political slavery:

            Since 2004, Mayawati has been providing support to Congress/UPA govt at the centre. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram Saheb never supported Congress Party; rather they always warned Bahujans against having any link with the Congress Party which is the biggest enemy of Dalits, Backwards and religious Minorities of this country. In the past 8 years, Mayawati has help running the UPA govt at centre and she is also a “partner-in-crime” with Congress party for its all anti-Dalit, Anti- Backward and anti- Muslim agendas. Mayawati has herself become and she has made this Party (i.e. BSP) a slave party to Congress. The Party that was formed by Kanshiram ji as a strong alternative to Congress party under the great principle of “SociaL Transformation & Economic Emancipation of Bahujna Samaj” has been reduced to the level of a lackey to staunch brahminical Party like the Congress Party. This is a betrayal that can’t be forgotten or forgiven.

           

            In this programme, the main speakers were- Sh Ram Prasad Mehra, Sh Raguveer Singh Bauddha, Adv. Sh Bhoop Singh, Sh Jai Ram Singh Jai, Sh Mange Ram, all founder members of BSP, Sh Pramod Kureel, Ex MP (Rajya Sabha), national Secretary and Incharge of NE states, Sh Rajnarain Rao former incharge Bihar State, Sh Sudarshan Ram, Sh Rudha Ram, Prof. Sudha Mohile, former incharge of Women’s Wing in Maharashtra, Smt Sushila Gihara, senior women leader of BSP, Sh Tej Singh, President Ambedkar Samaj Party, Adv. Shaji Cheraman, former President BSP Kerala, E.Pa. Jeevan Kumar, state Gen. Secretary Tamilnadu BSP, Sh R. P. Chaudhary and many other speakers expressed their views. Bahujan Missionary songs were presented by famous singer of Punjab Sh Harnam Singh Bahalpuri and his team

           

            A resolution was passed at the end of the programme to remove Mayawati from the post of President of BSP and expelling her from BSP for her anti-BSP deeds and betrayal with core principles and ideology of the Party.

people happened much more in RPI... What can be better learning from
RPI...We should guard ourselves better with internal enemies..

मै पूरी तरह से उदय कुमारजी की बातों से सहमत हूं। शायद दलितों कि आपस
में लङने कि प्रव्रित्ती कि कारण ही आज दलितों कि एवं उनके संगठनों कि
स्थिति और खराब होती जा रही है। विरोधाभाष होना स्वाभाविक है लेकिन ये
विरोधाभाष एक दुसरे को समूल नष्ट करने के उददेश्य से होना अलोकतांत्रिक
है।
मै मायावती या किसी अन्य का पक्ष नही ले रहा हूं। लेकिन बसपा के पूर्व
एवं समकालीन बने दलितों के राजनीतिक संगठनों कि बात करें तो काशीराम एवं
मयावतीजी ने जो कर दिखाया वह किसी और संगठन ने सपने में भी नही सोचा
होगा। यदि सोचा भी होगा तो सपनों को सच में बदलने कि कूवत उनमें न थी।
जिस तरह से दलित संगठन एक दूसरे के गलाकाट विरोध का झंण्डा बुलंद किये
हुये है उससे नही लगता कि ये बुध्दजीवियों का संगठन है। इससे इनका आंदोलन
तो ध्वस्त होता ही है साथ में सवर्णो के समक्ष मजाक का विषय भी बनाये
जाते। इनकों हिन्दूवादी संगठनों से सीख लेनी चाहिए। किस प्रकार वे
अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में ताल मेंल के साथ कार्य कर रहे है।

कभी कभी मुझे लगता है कि ये विरोध का मौसम किसी हिन्दू वादी संगठन के
गुप्त रणनीति का नतीजा तो नही। लेकिन मुझे ये भी सोचने को मजबूर होना पङ
रहा है कि क्या दलितों की मौका परस्तता, अतिमहत्वकाक्षा इस राजनीतिक
आंदोलन को तोड कर रख देगी। मेरे ख्याल से विरोध से कही ज्यादा बेहतर है
सही विकल्प का निर्माण या तलाश। जो दलित आंदोलन को क्षति पहुचाऐ बिना
किया जा सके।

मायावती का विरोध करने का अधिकार सही मायने में उसके पास है जो मायावती
की तरह सत्ता के श‍िखर में पहुचने का माददा रखता हो। निश्चित रूप से
दक्षिण व महाराष्ट्र के दलित राजनीतिक आंदोलन के परिप्रेक्ष्य में देखे
तो उत्तर भारत में मायावती ने दलितों को शान से जीने की एक आस दी है, एक
स्वाभ‍िमान दिया है। इससे सभी को सीख लेनी चाहिए।

एक दूसरा पहलू
इस मुआमले में दूसरा पहलू ये है कि अन्य राजनीतिक दलों कि तरह बसपा में
हाई कमान जैसी कोई चीज नही है इसलिए हर प्रदेश में बसपा एक दो जातियों कि
पार्टी बन कर रह गई है। बोट तो सभी दलित देते है लेकिन लगाम पर
लोकतात्रिक व्यवस्था का नियंत्रण नही होता है। सरल शब्दों में कहूं तो ये
पार्टी व्यक्ति वादी हो गई। कितने ही बसपा के कार्यकता उपेक्षा का शिकार
हुये है जिन्होने अपने खून पसीने से बसपा को बडा किया है। इसलिए बसपा में
हाई कमान जैसा एक संगठन की जरूरत है जो सिर्फ यूपी में ही नही पूरे देश
में सक्रिय हो।

आशा करता हू कि डी एम ऐ में ऐसा सुखद विमर्श ओगे भी पढने को मिलेगा।
