HI All,

 

I noticed Trev ad an old hang gliding trophy an wondered how many more there were that were no longer contested,  and if they should be offered to the Hang gliding museum along with a history of pilots who had won it,  that way at least someone interested in researching hang gliding history or visiting the museum would be able to see it,

 

Alternativly they just get to decorate someones house for a bit, and create a bit of “when I was a lad” conversation after dinner,

 

Just a thought and not really important, but if you want to bulk out the AGM lol,

Hi Pete,

With the increased use of Social Media and Rasp we should discuss the affects that day visitors are having on the sites on good XC days. I'm sure if there's a good forecast at Wether Fell in March/April we could get between 60 - 100 pilots and many of them won't be members. I think it's important to have a plan to deal with this, before we loose any sites.

Folks,

I rather like the unconventional idea of having a short meeting, but then perhaps that's just me ;)

Kev's idea is a good one but I think you can trust the committee to sort the trophies out on your behalf.  I don't think we really need to discuss it at the AGM.  (Of course if you feel that you can't trust the committee then feel free to stand at the AGM - join the committee and have an influence!)

Dean's concern is also worthy of discussion, and we'll consider it at the committee meeting next Thursday.  Unless anyone has any formal proposals then we can include it under AOB, along with anything else that you would like the committee to consider on your behalf.

I think we need to look at Social Media, in terms of having DHPC profiles on the main sites and also monitoring discussions regarding DHPC sites/matters.
