Tom Dick got back to me and thought it would be a great idea to get the print of the year as a Gift and they would hang it somewhere in the lodge. 

 

How can I get a receipt to submit with our grant.  Also I assume it comes un framed so is there a framer company we use that would do it and I can get an estimate from them.

Bill's memory/competence is pretty bad now, so he doesn't do framing anymore.  That's why we didn't have a print from him this year, or last I think.  I'll just order a framed print from National unless anyone has a contact.

If we are looking for  “one of a kind” type framing on the POY,

Delmere McClain (friend of mine) owns a framing shop in Valley City

and is renowned for the quality of his unique framing.

Ive had a couple barn-wood frames done by Delmere and they are awesome.

I also know he could do “inlayed” pheasant feathers/shotgun shells/etc. if so chosen.

He works in Fargo so it would not be hard to drop off a print with him.

Not sure what cost would be or turn-around time, but I can inquire if we are interested.
