2015 Youth Hunt Planning

I just wanted to kick off a new topic to start securing ideas now and as items are considered or thought of throughout the year, just reply to this topic and we can review them prior to the event. 

• Take Group Picture prior. Kids left early and we didn't get a group picture at the end 
• As first group of kids check in, take them right away to trap range to practice and take them out to hunt
• Don't set out bird too early
• The second group of kids were more successful getting birds (they didn't have time to move)
• The second group were sharp shooters (probably because they warmed up on trap beforehand)
• NAVDHA group was great for dog power
• 20 kids is ideal for that field we hunted using the shelter belts as dividers
