Update from Rodd...
Sent from TypeMail
Hi guys,
Thought I would send you a couple pictures on the progress at Hamilton Wills. One picture is of the grass/forb seeding we did this spring and the other is the tree planting. We have kicked up pheasant broods in both of these areas this month while working there. The black-eyed susans just exploded as you can see in the picture. The tree/shrub planting is doing really well also. We will get the signs installed before this falls hunting seasons and will transfer your sign to the big sign once it is installed. We started farming on the north side this year and will do so for three seasons. That area will be put back into a variety of grasses. There is an area just north of the grass seeding we can possibly put into a pollinator plot in the next year or two. We also have planned a large tree planting in the northwest corner of the management area for next spring. We are also planning to farm that area after we re-seed the current farmed area to grass. I’ll send you pictures when we get the signs installed. Thanks for your help.
