Subject: ND Regional Representative Introduction

Hi, ND Pheasants Forever!

cid:image002.png@01D2F646.78D7D500I  am Renee McKeehen, the Regional Representative for Pheasants Forever in North Dakota, and would love to introduce myself! I was born and raised on a small farm in South Haven, Minnesota and moved to Bismarck, North Dakota in 2015 with my husband, Bobb. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota Crookston where I pursued my passion for the outdoors with a Bachelor's of Science in Wildlife Management and Natural Resources Management. Crookston was also where I fell in love with the prairie pothole region and the abundant cid:image004.png@01D2F646.78D7D500waterfowl hunting it provides.

I am an avid outdoorswoman and adventure through the seasons – fishing both open water and through the ice with a rod, spear, bow or a fly rod, shed hunting, foraging, hunting for deer, waterfowl, pheasant, doves, grouse, and predators. I have a 7-month-old yellow lab, Jobo, who I am training to be one heck of a duck dog (hopefully).  I am a pro-staff member for Avery, Banded & Greenhead Gear & a team member of HuntressView - a dedicated community of sportswomen. I was proudly titled 'Adventuress of the Year" in 2016 by Adventuress magazine.

cid:70139ddc-d55f-4105-bfb0-bd5547309da8A certified Firearms Safety Instructor in ND, I have a strong ambition to pass on the outdoor heritage to the next generation. I am determined to introduce as many people into the outdoor world as possible – especially women and children. As an outdoorswoman, I am an avid conservationist and am passionate about engaging and educating others in the world of conservation.

I am proud to be a part of Pheasants Forever in North Dakota and am excited to work alongside the dedicated members in our state and contribute to the chapters. I look forward to meeting each of you in person and working with you as soon as possible!

Please let me know of your next chapter meeting or if you’d like to meet for a cup of coffee or lunch and Jobo and I will hit the road to come meet you!

 Yours in Conservation,

               Renee McKeehen
