2026 Banquet Date

Guys, was just emailing with the Pifer's team on an unrelated issue, but the date of the banquet came up.  We have the banquet date as Sept. 17th on the calendar, but that is Big Iron Week.  Do we actually have that date booked with RRVF?  I can't imagine the Hartl Building is available that week.  We've always been the week after Big Iron to avoid the conflict.

Confirmed that the Hartl is not available on the 17th. They currently have availability again starting the 24th if we would like to book that date? I would also need to let Carnivore Catering know of any updates.

2025 Calendar Raffle $100 Scheels Gift Card Winners

• After our upcoming meeting on Tuesday, all the $100 Scheels gift card winners should be taken care of now

Flash Sale Handgun

• If we are interested, the current flash sale handgun is a CZ USA P-09 C Nocturne Optic Ready 9mm Pistol and the chapter price is $469. Retail is $649. Attached is a screenshot of the handgun
  • We had a SIG Sauer in one of our board raffles last year that costed us approx. $664

Banquet Updates

Hartl Building

• I'm currently waiting to hear back from RRVF to confirm 09/24/26 is booked for us

Carnivore Catering

• Once I get confirmation from RRVF, I will follow up with Carnivore Catering on the date change

Banquet Table Coverings

• Plastic $1-$5/ea | Fabric $5-$10/ea
  • We used approx. 60 tables last year
• Laundering a banquet tablecloth is $24/ea according to Camelot Cleaners
  • If we plan to buy our own table covers, I will need to work with RRVF to get better table measurements to come up with more precise estimates
• I will say that I believe we stay the course with renting table coverings from RRVF. I understand it may be more expensive, but I believe it will be less hassle and less hidden costs renting than if we were to buy our own

Banquet Deadlines

• I think one thing that would be helpful this year for myself and I'm sure others helping out with the banquet would be to set some formal deadlines ahead of the banquet. For example, could we all agree and plan on getting all sponsorships in and completed by 09/01/2026? Getting prizes completed by 08/01/2026? I can work on putting something together if this is something we would want to implement.

Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic - Feb. 20th - Feb. 22nd

• I can't promise anything yet, but there may be a chance I can provide free tickets to the 2026 Pheasant Fest in Minneapolis for those who are interested. I'm hoping to know more later this week.
