User manual

I am a research scholar and i want to use this model for my work...can any one tell me how to start how do i get a user manual for the model.

A reference manual and tutorial will be installed when you install the model.  Look in the start menu.

as per ur mail  i can run it using a text pad. please tell me how to use GUI and how to get Daisysetup GUI input screen , is there any Daisy 5.19 GUI user Guide or Demo

dear sir,

1. how can i change/ update weather condition as per indian scenario to simulate output

2. as per test.dai when i changed the coding for 2004 to 2010 output ..it says data not found.. how can i get output for yrs of my choice

3.i am interested in carbon , nitrogen profile simulation if we dispose sewage/ algae biomass residue on soil is it possible.

You need to create a weather file for your area. I suggest you run through the exercises, which can be found under Start -> Daisy -> Explore -> Exercises which should help you.

dear sir ,

i ve created a weather file of my area mumbai.dwf(consisting weather data from jan 2009 to dec 2013), but when i run the prog to stimulate it gives me folloeing error

please help ..where shall i put this weatherfile..or what changes shall i made to it so that it cud be recognised by program., i am attaching my weather file for ur perusal and .dai file using this weather file as well

This message means that Daisy expects a number at line 19, column 16. The line is 

PreciptCorrect: 

Daisy expects you to write 12 numbers there (one for each month). You can write

PreciptCorrect: 1 1 1 1 1 1  1 1 1 1 1 1

 

if you don't believe the measured precipitation needs to be corrected.

Sir i ve corrected the weather file as suggested by u...this time error msg says mumbai.dwf:23:49: got 6 tags and 7 dimension( error) cant read weather file( error)
I ve attached the weather file made by me in my previous mail.

with ur guidance and ref material i am able to create and run wether file of my area(india)

sir, i need to to understand the following points in respect of my work:

1. my work includes to account for the nitrogen and carbon after land disposal of residual biomass(coming out after extraction of biodiesel from microalgae(composition known)) soil profile , horizon, weather profile i ve understood

plesase guide me to understand how can i guage amount of nitrogen and carbon (in various forms) being absorbed and being passed on to the envronment (in order to calculate ghg emission and further GWP)

2. shall i apply the residual bio mass as organic fertilizer to land (how to define) , i need not be concerned about the crop rotation, harvesting and sowing...i just need the carbon and nitrogen profiling of residual biomass after land application

please guide me to proceed further in my work.

3. kindly advice me the main points to be included in coding and relevant files required to me made to get the desired simulation.

sir my guide here in Indian Institute of Technology , Roorke, India  Dr. Raja will also get in touch with you after substantial progress and analysing various problems encounterd in my work.
