Hi

is there an easy way to influence leachate N? I have much to high N-leaching in my third simulation year (and much to low soil and plant N). So far I only use a very simple ground configuration that seems unfortunately to be insufficient. :(

I am grateful for any tips

Christof

Hi Christof.

Too high leaching is usually related to too low crop uptake. So my suggestion would be to look at the crop production. Is it high enough? If not, what limit its? Nitrogen or water? Is the soil nitrogen available at the time where the crop is able to benefit from it?

Sorry, no quick fix.

Regards,

Per A.
