This is not the snowiest season ever but it is # 3 and on the 15th of February, well within striking distance of number 1.  It has broken all records for February.

Having gone through the 1978 experience, I cannot say I have never seen it worse, but I can say it is the worst in 37 years, and there is plenty of time.

We are living with our daughter in Norwell at the moment, affectionately in a place I call the dungeon.  (Actually, normal people would call it a basement)  Really, it is quite comfortable.

We have a door that opens up on a level back yard.  Here is what you see now when you open the door.

I have made a path to the bird feeder so we can do our part in helping them survive.

We just finished snow blowing and shoveling the driveway,

and hydrant.  All while the wind blew ferociously and the temps were dropping to 0.

Just love balmy New England.

But, we have electricity and heat.  What else could one want.

Just thought you ought to know.
