نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
"روزہ دوزخ سے بچنے کے لیے ایک ڈھال ہے،اس لیے روزہ دار نہ فحش باتیں کرے نہ جہالت کی باتیں کرے اور اگر کوئی شخص روزہ دار سے لڑائی کرے یا اسے گالی دے تو اس کا جواب صرف یہ ہونا چاہیئے کہ میں روزہ دار ہوں-"
