سورہ الصّف آیت نمبر 2
یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لِمَ تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۲﴾
ترجمہ:
اے ایمان والو ! تم ایسی بات کیوں کہتے ہو جو کرتے نہیں ؟ (٢)
تفسیر:
2: امام احمد اور امام بغوی نے روایت نقل کی ہے کہ بعض صحابہ کرام نے آپس میں اس قسم کی باتیں کی تھیں کہ اگر ہمیں یہ معلوم ہوجائے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کو کونسا عمل سب سے زیادہ پسند ہے تو ہم اس کے لیے جان تک قربان کردیں۔ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کو بلایا، اور یہ سورت انہیں پڑھ کر سنائی،

اس میں پہلے تو انہیں یہ ادب سکھایا گیا ہے کہ کوئی ایسی بات زبان سے نہیں نکالنی چاہیے جس میں دعوے کا کوئی پہلو نکلتا ہو کہ میں فلاں کام ضرور کروں گا، کیونکہ عین ممکن ہے کہ کسی وجہ سے وہ کام ہو نہ سکے اور دعویٰ جھوٹا ہوجائے، اور انسان جو کچھ کہہ رہا ہے، وہ کر نہ سکے۔ ہاں اپنے اوپر بھروسہ کرنے کے بجائے عاجزی کے ساتھ کوئی ارادہ ظاہر کرنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔
