I was asked this morning if I had ever seen a gravestone before with the hand/finger pointing down (see attached image).  I assume this would be the "hand of god" coming to take the soul up - but I have not seen it myself.  I thought if anyone might have seen others, it would be someone in this group.

Rusty & Doug,

I have lots of photos of the Hand Pointing Down. Most of the photos were taken in Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, New Orleans, LA and some parts of FL. There are several variations of hands pointing down, up, clasped, holding flowers, chains, etc.

I can dig some out if you want.

I attached a couple of different ones I thought might interest you.
