Read Philemon 1:17-21
"19 I, Paul, promise to pay it back. I'm writing this with my own hand. I won't even mention that you owe me your life."
Observe
Paul just lied! He said he wouldn't mention it, but he did!
Actually, he was referring to the future where Philemon charges something to Paul. Paul is promising that in that future exchange, he won't mention saving Philemon's life.
Stating that now is a sneaky way to remind Philemon that Philemon owes Paul far more than anything Onesimus might owe Philemon.
In a similar way, I owe Christ far more than anyone owes me. This provides a logical and reasonable means for me to forgive someone.
Do
Ask Jesus to reveal anyone whom I have not forgiven, and then forgive that person.
