Running Away Reversal

Read Philemon 1:15-16

   "15 Maybe Onesimus was gone for awhile so that you could have him back forever--"

Observe 

   "was gone for awhile" Onesimus ran away! Paul was really downplaying this fact. Onesimus ran away and found Christ. Paul wants Philemon to view this as a net gain for himself. He is getting Onesimus back as a new and transformed individual.

   Onesimus accepted that running away would harm Philemon, but God turned it around for good.

   Watch for God's blessed reversals today, and praise God for them.
