Inability to Reverse Direction

Read Hebrews 1:14

   "14 What are all the angels? They are spirits sent to serve those who are going to receive salvation."

Observe

   And what are all the demons? They are spirits who come to block all those who are going to receive salvation. Can the demons succeed? No. Will they do their best to succeed in the view of guaranteed failure? Yes.

   Humans can change their minds about their goal; spirits cannot change their minds about their goal.

Do

   Praise God for giving humans the ability to repent and turn around.
