ELIN PENDLETON
Acrylic Painting Workshop - "Every Which way AND Loose!"
Class time: 9:00 - 4:00
Cost: $500 (Prorating options available!)
Skill Level: All Levels    Location: Aiken, SC

This acrylic painting workshop is for students who want to expand their knowledge of how
to work with acrylics. During the five days, Elin will give each student a vast amount of knowledge and techniques in painting creatively. Every day will open student's eyes to different approaches for starting work, adding to work, and thinking "outside the box" in approaching traditional subjects. This workshop will present ways of working with acrylics that will open doors to new ways of expression for every student. Students will bring their own supplies, yet this workshop will provide many additional unique materials to use in creating works of art.

Elin Pendleton is the author of "Horses in Acrylics" and co-authored "The Art of Acrylic Painting" and "Acrylic References" by Walter Foster Publications. She is nationally recognized for paintings that have won major awards in juried competitions, is a retired teacher and full-time artist. She is a full member of the AAEA, a signature member of Women Artists of the West and past president of same. Her color-drenched canvases draw the viewer's eye and her brushwork is her trademark. Elin has more than thirty years of painting and teaching to share. Positive messaging and the ability to pinpoint specific goals for students are her strengths.
